Science Fiction Trilogy - Moon

I've returned to working on my trilogy about an Earth/Moon conflict and war. I've got two of the three volumes written and am working on outlining the third. I'm not totally happy with the punctuation on the first two and am reading through them as a check before I move into the third volume in ernest. Anybody want to read parts of the the first two to see how I've done? I guess it's necessary to have a few followers before anybody will step forward. I didn't sense a rush of takers--this must be why. It's hard to set aside enough time to work on my writing, but it has to be done. I've completed the third book in the Cosmic Cast series but haven't sent it off to a publisher yet.

Update on writing

I've got to get to this more often. It's been almost a month since I've been on this. I've spent some time recently rereading a previously written science fiction novels. I probably shouldn't have. It's sort of like writing a poem. When is a poem done? It's done when you get tired of working on it. I think a book is very similar. I did find a few errors and some sections that needed to be restructured but it wasn't bad. Out of 120,000 words I probably changed less than a 1,000. I'll start putting short sections of it up for people to read. I'm tired and have a head ache I think I'll shut this thing down and rest. Have a good day.

Writing update

I'm 162 pages into the third book in The Adventures of Curtis, Connie, and Cosmic Cat. It's really going to be difficult to hold it the the 150 page goal. This is especially true as I'll have to add about 15 to 20 pages for illustrations and forward pages. I still have at least two more sections to write. I guess this will end up being closer to 200 pages when I'm finished. I'll have to go with what the characters and the story tell me to do. I'm still correcting and re-writing the first three chapters of The Next Step. This is a full length Science Fiction novel for young adults and older readers. I've got reviews for the first book, "Astronaut Training," on various sites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble. I'd appreciate anybody who has read the book putting up a review.

I'm going to pass on the science snippet this time but I'll attempt to do one next time. I need to write my blog more often, at least once a week.

Publishing second book, "A Visit to the Farm"

I took the plunge sent off to the printer. If all goes well I'll have the proof copy to review in the near future. I have the pleasant task of protesting my property taxes tomorrow. Just something to take me away from other things that I need to be doing. Oh, well we can't have it all. I need to make some telephone calls tomorrow to see if I can get, "Astronaut Training," out to a few more places before the next book comes out. My home page is ronaldcthompson.com. I think the next book will have Curtis, Connie, and Cosmic Cat move up the river to where Dad is working. The fourth book may have them all go camping for a few days.
